The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center was made possible through the support and commitment of a number of individuals and organizations.  The following are among our key supporters:

Friends of the Pfeiffers

To assist in our continuing development, this ongoing support group provides annual financial and personal support.  Members receive a membership card that entitles them to one year free admission for tours, discounts at the museum store, special notice of museum events, a quarterly newsletter and annual listing in Friends of the Pfeiffers News.

Project Advisors

This group includes Hemingway and Pfeiffer family members, heritage professionals, and regional leaders who advise regarding the museum's programming. Click here for a list of members.

Restoration Support

The detail of what the Pfeiffer house and barn studio were like in the 1930s has been documented and recreated through surviving correspondence, photographs, and interviews with now-deceased individuals such as Matilda Pfeiffer (daughter-in-law of Paul and Mary Pfeiffer), Lilly Jordan (housekeeper in 1928), and Beatrice Janes (owner of the house after the Pfeiffers).  The property has been restored as authentically as possible to the 1930s era, with unobtrusive accommodations for modern conveniences.  A 1937 aerial photo of the project area was used the model to create the Master Site plan. For a list of Restoration Team members, click here.

Restoration Funding

Restoration of the Hemingway-Pfeiffer property was achieved through a number of sources, with special support from Sherland and Barbara Hamilton, the Arkansas Natural and Cultural Resources Council, and the National Scenic Byway Program.  Click here for the list of restoration funding sources.
