Crowley's Ridge Parkway, Arkansas's first National Scenic Byway, is outlined in orange and red on this map. The Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center is in Piggott, near the northern terminus of the byway.

       Crowley's Ridge

        Parkway Route:

Crowley's Ridge Parkway starts at St. Francis, on U.S. 62 in extreme northeast Arkansas, and passes through Piggott and on west to McDougal.  The route takes Hwy. 141 south to Hooker, then 135 into Paragould.  U.S. 412 is followed west to the Walcott community, then Hwy. 141 rides the ridge toward Jonesboro, veering east on KAIT Road and following Hwy. 351 south into Jonesboro.  From Jonesboro, the route takes Hwy. 163 to Harrisburg, and on through Birdeye to Wynne.  The parkway then joins Hwy. 284, south to Forrest City, where it joins Hwy. 1 to Marianna.  Next, the byway takes Hwy. 44 into the St. Francis National Forest and follows service roads to Hwy. 242, which intersects with U.S. 49B into Helena-West Helena
